Diet K is a very good replacement for Kazaalite if you are interested in Kazaa and filesharing via FastTrack. You install Kazaa Media Desktop and after that Diet K.
The latest release 2.62 most importantly fixes every known bug with Diet K and adds support for Windows 98/ME and 2003, as well as Kazaa Media Desktop 2.62. New features include Quick SuperNode jumping and enhanced Auto Search More.

DietK version 2.6 supports Kazaa 2.60 and allows Unlimited Search More for Kazaa 2.60. This is a very useful feature which often increases the download speed drastically.
Another nice feature in DietK is the backup/restore function for the Participation Level. When you request a file from another user and someone else has already requested it, the user with the highest Participation Level will receive priority. The Participation Level will decrease if you download files and increase if you upload files. If you have earned a high Participation Level you can keep it using DietK.
